COD Mobile Bots in Multiplayer and Battle Royale Explained

Many players think they face bots in COD Mobile, especially during early levels and lower ranks. These bots are computer-controlled (AI) characters that appear in games like COD Mobile, PUBG Mobile, and Free Fire and are used when player counts are low. While Activision has neither confirmed nor denied these claims of having computer-controlled bots in COD Mobile, it seems like beginners play almost entirely with bots in COD Mobile up to level 10. After this, the number of bots in Call of Duty: Mobile games go down and you start facing actual Call of Duty: Mobile players. While there aren’t many bots in COD Mobile’s multiplayer modes, due to the large number of players required for battle royale, Activision uses these bots to fill in the slots. If players want to play with bots they can try the 'practice vs AI' mode'.  

Finding bots in COD Mobile isn’t unique as even games like PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Free Fire have bots. These bots help the games let newer players learn the game mechanics without getting spawn killed constantly and reduces queue times for game modes like Battle Royale.

How to use Practice vs AI Mode to play with bots in COD Mobile

You can also add bots to your Call of Duty: Mobile game by playing the ‘Practice vs AI’ mode. Here are the steps to play against bots in the game mode.

Step 1: Launch the game and tap the multiplayer option.

Use the multiplayer option to set up bot matches

Step 2: Scroll through the different tabs on the right to go to ‘Practice’ and select the 'Practice vs AI' game mode.

Select the 'Practice vs AI' from the available options

Note: ‘Practice vs AI’ mode is located next to the practice training mode.

Step 3: Select the mode and tap on confirm to start a game.
