Wild Rift Release Date for Latin America Delayed Due to the Pandemic

Over the past few months since the release of Wild Rift, Riot Games has been transparent with its fans. The Wild Rift release date for Latin America has been delayed along with other regions like North America and India due to the global lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a Dev Diary Followup Video, Wild Rift Executive Producer, Michael Chow explained the reasons behind the delay on release dates for certain regions.

“The pandemic has the team grounded and unable to travel, making it impossible to do what we would normally do to set up new server sites and server locations,” stated Michael Chow.
