What We Know About the Free Fire x One Punch Man Collaboration

Garena has announced more details for their upcoming One Punch Man collaboration event titled “The Hero Trial”. The event will feature a ton of One Punch Man themed contents coming to Free Fire. 

Free Fire x One punch Man, The Hero Trial Event Details

The event will immerse players into the game as they unleash the hero inside them. The world will be filled with chaos and it is up to the players together along with two of the most iconic anime characters, Saitama and Genos, to save the world. 

The event will start on Jan. 10, 2021, and will feature a lot of One Punch Man related content, including character skins, gun skins, backpacks, and more. The main menu will also have a total makeover to deliver the theme of mighty superheroes.

There will be daily missions that players can complete and gain rewards. Some in-game elements will also be changed to fit into the theme of One Punch Man such as airdrops and airships. There will be so much stuff to do that there is no dull moment while this event is ongoing.

One Punch Man Themed Skins

The event will showcase a wide variety of in-game items that players can acquire. This includes costume variations for Saitama, Genos, backpacks, Gloo Walls, and the “I’m Saitama” emote.

Two new gun skins will also be added to the game. The two gun skins are named Megapunch M1887 and the M4A1 - Genos.

There’s more, players will receive a free Saitama Loot Box when they log in on January 23. This is a good opportunity to try the new loot box without spending any diamonds. 

Saitama’s Daily Training

To be a superhero, you must undergo training and prove yourself worthy of such a title. From Jan. 15, 2021, Daily missions will be given for players and by completing this mission they will gain tickets. These tickets can be exchanged for special training sessions from one of the strongest heroes in the anime franchise, Saitama.

Each training session will task players into defeating monsters that drop boxes with random loot inside. The boxes will have three tiers, the higher the tier, the better rewards that players receive. 

Path to Hero Web Event

The fun goes beyond the game as the event will also feature a web event that gives players more rewards for participating. 

Taking place on Jan. 16 until 26, the web event will send players to fight monsters and earn treasure boxes. These treasure boxes contain tokens that players can use to exchange for rewards at the redeeming store.
