MLBB: Surprises Awaits in Winter Gala 2020

Moonton celebrates yet another great year with their popular game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang(MLBB). The Winter Gala 2020 event will bring free skins and goodies for everyone for the duration of the event. What’s even more exciting is that two famous actors from Indonesia are set to play a big role in the upcoming Winter Gala 2020.

What is Winter Gala 2020?

The Winter Gala 2020 is a Christmas Themed event for MLBB. Along with the event, they’ll be releasing winter-themed skins in the shop and free obtainable skins by doing missions in the game. This event also features a collaboration of two famous Indonesian actors to cast on a short film.

In this collaboration, two actors will play Chou and Guison, two widely popular characters in MLBB in a short film produced by Moonton. Recently, MLBB started making a lot of short films and animations to engage with its players. The Blazing West Event Storyline further cements the fact that they are more than capable of doing so.

“Choosing them (the actors) in Winter Gala 2020 is based on the characters of the actors that suit the two iconic Heroes that they will play, and the two Heroes are popular in the community,” Aswin Atonie, Brand Director, Moonton Indonesia. “We will gradually introduce the actors in early and mid-December 2020. So, stay tuned with the news.”

One of the actors has already been revealed in the official Instagram of MLBB Indonesia. Iko Uwais, an Indonesian actor, will play Chou in the upcoming MLBB Winter Gala 2020 Short Film. The second mystery fighter has yet to be announced by Moonton.

Surprises in Winter Gala 2020

Moonton has prepared various other activities that will happen during the Winter Gala 2020. 

• The Snowflake Darts will be available for pre-order on Dec. 19. The Snowflake Darts can be used on Dec. 26  to exchange for Twilight Tickets and participate in a raffle where the winner will receive a special skin. There will also be missions related to the Snowflake Darts which gives more skins for players.
• The winners of the Lucky Star Event will be announced on December 26, 2020. Players will have a chance of unlocking all Heroes, Skins, and an additional 10,000 Diamonds for free. This event is already ongoing and the more days you log in, the more chances you win. 
• Players will get a chance to unlock up to 6 Epic Skins for 24 hours. The event starts on Dec. 26, 2020, and is available to all players in MLBB.
• The comeback of the Chess Tower Defence game mode. The game mode will be available once again for a limited time from December 25 until January 11, 2020.
• Moonton has blessed competitive players in ranked games. From Dec. 26 until 27, players will not lose stars in ranked games and won’t get demoted to lower ranks. This is a great opportunity to climb the ladder without worrying about being demoted.
