The team is giving anyone the chance to tryout for a spot—perhaps not surprising for a brand-new esport. Aspiring Wild Rift esports players can apply to tryout for a spot on the roster by filling out BOOM Esports’ Google form.

This is the second recruitment drive that BOOM Esports is conducting. Players who applied in the first round need not repeat their application.

Effectively, BOOM Esports is asking potential players to submit their achievements in Wild Rift’s beta. The Indonesian organization is also willing to consider accomplishments in other MOBA titles like League of Legends, Dota 2, or even Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).

BOOM Esports currently hosts some of the most successful Indonesian rosters in MOBAs like Dota 2 attending multiple Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Minors and securing over $300,000 USD in prize winnings over multiple years. They’ve also captured titles in the ESL SEA Championship 2020 and the ESL Indonesia Championship Season 1.

The Indonesian org also hosts relatively successful rosters in titles like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, CS:GO, VALORANT and Hearthstone. The team has also shown that it is open to signing organizations from countries other than Indonesia, as evidenced by their Brazillian CS:GO roster.

BOOM Esports are among the first teams to jump on the Wild Rift bandwagon. North American organization, Noble esports also recently announced their pick up of an Indian Wild Rift roster.

It is certainly interesting to see teams pick up these rosters before the game is even officially out of beta. Perhaps it is Riot Games' successful track records in titles like League of Legends and VALORANT which is causing teams to hedge their bets on Wild Rift.

It seems like a low-risk, high-reward strategy which could prove to be vital for these teams who are looking to establish themselves as a major force in Wild Rift's potential esports scene.
