Noble Esports Announces Wild Rift Roster Featuring Multiple Former Dota 2 Pros

Earlier in October 2020, the NA organization Noble Esports had announced that they were signing a Wild Rift Roster in India with a teaser which featured Capt Kirk (former League of Legends PC professional) who would be a part of the team. Following this, former Entity Gaming Dota 2 Player, Syed “Divine” Shahab was announced as the captain of this squad.

Finally, their full roster has been revealed on November 4. Their full roster consists of veteran Dota 2 players Swifty and Crowley who both recently announced their retirement from the Valve title on their social media handles earlier this week as well as former Entity Gaming player Amit “Zapheto” Malwal.

Noble Esports’ Wild Rift roster is:

Mid: Syed “Divine” Shahab

ADC: Kirk "Capt Kirk" Stephen

Top Lane: Jeet "Swifty" Kundra

Jungle: Raunak "Crowley" Sen

Support: Amit “Zapheto” Malwal.

Who are Swifty, Crowley, and Zapheto?

Swifty and Crowley are two of the most successful esports players in the country winning over $21,000 USD during their Dota 2 careers. They were also key members of the best Indian Dota 2 team, ‘Signify’ who had an undefeated 2-year winning streak in Indian tournaments winning over ten Dota 2 tournaments in a row.

At their peak, Signify's Dota 2 roster featuring Swifty and Crowley did not lose an Indian tournament for over two years.

Their experience and leadership in the MOBA genre combined with the technical prowess of Capt Kirk and Divine could prove to be the key for Noble Esports to become a major player in the Indian Wild Rift scene.

The fifth player, Zapheto was one of the most promising and successful young support players in Indian Dota 2 before the tournaments dried up. It will be interesting to see how his journey evolves with Noble Esports in Wild Rift tournaments.
