  • Entity Gaming secures visa for players to attend Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile Open
  • Team may have to miss out on some games of the PMCO Fall South Asia Qualifiers
  • Orange Rock and Synergy Gaming are also in a similar position but their fate is unknown

Entity Gaming has just confirmed that their team has indeed managed to secure visas to attend the 131K USD PUBG Mobile LAN, the Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile Open. While there were concerns that the team had trouble securing their visas, coupled with schedule clashes with the PMCO Fall South Asia Qualifiers it seems as if the team has worked out things to attend the LAN.

We also have confirmation that the team is likely to miss some games of the group stages of the PMCO South Asia Qualifier as the dates are indeed clashing. While that is concerning, the team will be helped by the fact that a good performance in the first few days will ensure that the team has enough points to move onto the next stage. 24 of the 32 teams will move onto the semifinals, which means the Entity Gaming will have some room to work with. The fact that they did have a great performance on Day 1 means that the team has already made some progress into securing their qualification into the next stage.

Elsewhere there still isn't any confirmation from Orange Rock Esports, who too are set to represent India at the LAN. OR too, are playing in the PMCO Fall South Asia qualifiers and will find themselves in a similar situation with a similar decision to make. Also in a similar situation are Synergy Gaming, who seem to have secured visas but have enabled the help of a substitute player. Whether these two teams will give up their games at the PMCO qualifiers to go to Milan and play thye LAN remains to be seen.
