Riot has designed Wild Rift’s gameplay to be familiar to League of Legends players. Just like on PC, Wild Rift has an array of Summoner Spells to choose from including staples like Flash, Ignite, Heal, Barrier, Ghost, Smite and others. Similarly, many of the Runes in Wild Rift will be familiar to the PC players, however, they are more streamlined for Wild Rift’s shorter games. Runes are used to strengthen a champion’s abilities and stats similar to emblems in Mobile Legends. Players can customize runes for their champion to boost a particular champion’s in-game performance. Runes can only be customised before spawning on the Rift, in champ select or through the tab in the main menu.

Runes Types

There are several runes to choose from. The Keystone rune is your Main Rune and will change depending on what role or champion you intend to play. There are 8 Keystone Runes to choose from including Electrocute, Aery, Conqueror, Fleet Footwork, Grasp Of The Undying, Aftershock, Font of Life and Kleptomancy. Players can also pick 3 Minor Runes to complement their choice, one each from the Domination, Resolve, and Inspiration trees. So every Rune Page in Wild Rift consists of 1 Keystone, 1 Domination Rune, 1 Resolve Rune, and 1 Inspiration Rune.

Along with the standard runes found in League of Legends like Conditioning and Gathering Storm, Wild Rift has some unique runes like Sweet Tooth, Loyalty, Mastermind and Pack Hunter.
