One of the most famous streamers from India, MortaL has now been named as a finalist by The Esports Awards for ‘Streamer of the Year’ two years in a row. Unfortunately, this year he would not be getting shortlisted under the second category as he has been out of the competitive circuit for a long time now. Last year in November, MortaL had announced that he was taking a break from competitive gaming while stating that even if he comes back it would likely be in the form of a coach or a mentor.

However, when it comes to streaming and content creation MortaL has been going strong currently standing with about 6.39 Million subscribers on YouTube and 2.6 Million followers on Instagram. Also, since last year he has gone on to join S8UL Esports along with Animesh ‘Thug’ Agarwal to create one of the biggest esports organization within the country. Just a few days back he even launched an esports and gaming course called ‘Learning Gaming’ on Frontrow, an Indian website that offers online courses on various topics.
