Apex Legends’ War Games event is set to release on April 13 with five new limited-time events, cosmetic rewards, and more. The upcoming Apex Legends War Games event will last for 2 weeks with unique modifiers being added to the game to shake up the casual lobbies. The first mode ‘Second-Chance’ will kick off next week and will instantly respawn you if you die! Each mode will last for anything between two to four days and players will be able to unlock badges, trackers, and other cosmetics during the Apex Legends War Games event.
Apex Legends War Games Overview
Here are the five modes that will be coming to Apex Legends’ War Games event.
In this mode, each Legend is granted one free respawn per match. Once a Legend is killed, their Respawn Token is consumed as they rise again from their current location retaining all their weapons and gear. After a short duration, the player respawns high in the air to skydive back into the action.
There will be a total of three hot zones each game with bonus loot. Each Hot Zone is enveloped in a Flash Point—a returning feature from a Season 6 LTM., Flash Points are enormous, glowing bubbles that replenish your HP and shields when you stand in them. In this mode, consumable items are still available as normal throughout the loot pool.
This mode allows your dead teammates’ banners to be automatically retrieved and there will be an increased spawn rate for Mobile Respawn Beacons as well.
This event speeds up the match as Legends fall. During a round, whenever a Legend dies, the round time is reduced. It is designed to make rotations matter a lot more and you don’t want to be trapped outside the zones.
Your armour regenerates over time at a rate of 12 points per second. Whenever you take damage, your armour will begin regenerating after an 8-second delay. This delay is doubled to 16 seconds if your armour gets cracked. There will also be no shield cells in this game mode.
Apex Legends War Games Cosmetics
Apex Legends’ War Games introduces a new rewards track with earnable cosmetics and goodies, including epic Rampart and 30-30 skins. The track also includes five unlockable Battle Pass levels.
As in past events, you can earn up to 1,000 points per day and challenges refresh daily during the Apex Legends’ War Games event. There are also stretch challenges that reward four unique badges if you complete them during the event. All of these challenges also stack with your Battle Pass, so you can complete multiple at once.
