SEA Fire Championship Playoffs Day 1 Recap: X10 and SHIFT Qualify to Semis

  • The SEA Fire Championship has resumed with the upper bracket qualifiers deciding our final four teams.
  • X10 Esports took on TUBEPLE and won 2-0 at the upper bracket qualifications.
  • Team SHIFT took on NongWaen and secured a 2-0 win and will be facing off against X10 in the next stage.

The SEA Fire Championship is back with the final eight Valorant teams competing for qualification. We had X10 Esports take on TUBEPLE and win 2-0 at the upper bracket qualifications yesterday while Team SHIFT took on NongWaen and secured a 2-0 win as well. The winners will be facing off against each other on January 10th while the losers will compete for a lower bracket qualification to stay in the competition. 

X10 Esports vs TUBEPLE (2-0)

X10 Esports took on TUBEPLE and won 13-7 on Ascent and 13-3 on Icebox, giving the team a 2-0 win and a spot at the next stage against SHIFT. 

Team SHIFT vs NongWaen (2-0)

Team SHIFT took on NongWaen and won 13-5 on Ascent and 13-8 on Split, securing a 2-0 win to the next round. SHIFT will be taking on X10 on January 10th at the Upper Bracket Semi-finals. 

The upper bracket quarterfinals commenced and we have the upper bracket and lower bracket playoff matches scheduled this week. The other two upper bracket semi-finalists will be decided today via the upper bracket quarterfinal playoffs. The lower bracket quarterfinals begin on January 9th and we will have two teams heading into the finals on January 14th.  

SEA Fire Championship 2020 Overview

The SEA Fire Championship 2020 is a tournament hosted by eFire League in partnership with Zack Solutions as the main sponsor. The playoffs stage is ongoing and will last until January 14th, which is when the top two teams will compete against each other. The playoffs are taking place between the upper bracket and lower bracket teams between January 7th and 14th next year. The SEA Fire Championship 2020 Grand Finals will be a BO5 match with a one-map advantage being given to the upper bracket team.
