The €50,000 VALORANT tournament will be featuring four directly invited teams from the European and the CIS regions. These invited teams are as follows,

  • Team Liquid
  • G2 Esports
  • FunPlus Phoenix
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

These teams will face off against each other in a double-elimination bracket with all matches except for the grand finals being a best-of-three face off. The grand final which is scheduled to take place on 13th September will be a five-game series with the winner walking away as the true champion of the region, as the teams invited for this tournament are hands down the best from the region.

€50,000 prizepool will be divided between all the four participating teams as follows,

First Place
€25,000 ($29,560)
Second Place
€12,500 ($14,780)
Third Place
€7,500 ($8,868)
Fourth Place
€5,000 ($5,912)

Team Liquid

One of the latest teams to have entered the region Team Liquid placed third at Allied Esports Odyssey which was their inaugural event followed by a disappointing run at LVL Clash 2 where they lost to SKADE resulting in an early exit from the event.

FunPlus Phoenix

Another new team, the Chinese organization combined players from two different teams to form their lineup. Their in-game leader Kirill “ANGE1” Karasiow is the most well-known player on the lineup and their biggest achievement yet is the second-place finish they achieved at Allied Esports Odyssey.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

One of the few teams that has already undergone a complete overhaul of their roster, NiP has participated in a lot of VALORANT tournaments but are not the best team in the region. They have consistently put up mediocre performances since the beginning.

G2 Esports

G2 Esports are hands down the best team in the region having won all the major tournaments that they have participated in. Their team consisting of players like mixwell and pyth have shown what they are capable of, as every team till now has had a rough time against them.
