Yuvin Esports has come ahead and announced the Yuvin Community Cup Season 2 featuring a total prize pool of Rs.3,00,000 ($3970.08). This season of the tournament which is scheduled to take place from 26th June to 7th July will be witnessing three major esports titles as part of the competition including Dota 2, CS:GO, and PUBGM.

Dota 2

A total of 29 teams had registered for the Dota 2 competition from eight South Asian countries namely Afganistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and India. Following the qualification round which was held on 20th - 21st June, two teams from India and Pakistan managed to qualify further into the tournament.

The Indian teams who qualified for the second stage of the tournament are ‘Sleepy Boisz’ and ‘Team Random’ whereas the Pakistani teams are ‘Ninja Titun’ and ‘Zealous Gaming’. These four teams will be joined by six directly invited teams who according to the organizers are Myanmar based teams.

These ten teams will go up against each other in a double-elimination bracket starting tomorrow as the Dota 2 part of the competition will be taking place from 26th - 29th June. All the matches played in the tournament will be a best-of-one matchup except for upper brackets finals, lower bracket finals, and the grand finals, which will witness a best-of-three series.

Dota 2 competition of the Yuvin Community Cup Season 2 will feature a total prize pool of Rs.70,000 ($926.54) which will be divided in between only between the winner (Rs.45,000) and the runners up (Rs.25,000).

CS:GO

The CS:GO competition of the Yuvin Community Cup Season 2 will be held between 30th June to 3rd July featuring twelve directly invited teams who will be fighting it out for a prize pool of Rs.80,000 ($1058.86). This prize pool will only be divided between the first two teams with the winners receiving Rs.50,000 while the runners up receive Rs.30,000.

The CS:GO tournament will be divided into two stages. The first stage will witness 8 of the 12 invited teams fight it out in a single-elimination format with four teams qualifying to the second stage.

The second stage of the tournament will again be divided into two parts, in the first part the 4 qualifying teams will go up against 4 invited teams in a single-elimination faceoff, the 4 teams that qualify will then take on each other in a double-elimination faceoff.

PUBG Mobile

The PUBGM competition scheduled to take place from 4th - 7th July will be housing the maximum prize pool of Rs.1.5 lakhs which will be divided as follows,

First Place
Rs.80,000 
Second Place
Rs.40,000 
Third Place
Rs.25,000
MVP
Rs.5,000

For PUBGM a total of 24 teams will be directly invited for the competition. These teams will be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams each, with every group playing 4 maps each day for the next two days. Two bottom-placed teams from each group will be eliminated and the remaining 18 teams will move further into the competition, these teams will then battle it out for the next two days playing 5 maps each day before a winner is crowned.

Apart from these three competitions, multiple engagement activities have also been planned by the organizers which will be taking place over the course of the next few weeks.
