Airtel India Esports Tour

NODWIN Gaming has partnered with Indian telecom operator Airtel to launch the Airtel India Esports Tour, a national ranking and award system for Indian esports players.

The tour will cover all of NODWIN Gaming’s tournaments including the ESL India Premiership, DreamHack India, KO Fight Nights. Various titles like PUBG MOBILE, CS:GO, FIFA 20 and Clash of Clans amongst others will be covered in this tour.

At the end of the calendar year, a final leaderboard across all games will be calculated and presented. The winners will be recognized and rewarded at an award show featuring various categories across the ecosystem such as esports athletes, teams, talents, best plays and more.

The broadcast of the Airtel India Esports Tour will be available on Airtel’s digital platforms.

Although the Airtel India Esports Tour will only be initially seeded in NODWIN Gaming’s tournament network, the companies have stated that the tour will aspire to be a platform where all tournaments will carry an agreed weightage independent of the organiser. This would allow players to independently choose which tournament they would like to play in.

Disclosure: NODWIN Gaming is a minority investor in and a client of AFK Gaming.
