T1 vs Fnatic: Match Recap, Highlights and Interview

Recap

Game 1 saw Fnatic being quite passive in their gameplay as their heroes were playing their own game and did not hunt for any enemies. T1 had a better understanding of the game as they made timely moves and ran over their enemies once they got power spikes, to end it in 29 minutes.

Game 2 saw unconventional drafts from both sides but T1 looked to be on a roll today as they outplayed Fnatic in every department. Fnatic looked disoriented and made some awkward plays. T1 made all the space for 23savage’s Medusa and once she was online, the team easily forced the GG call from Fnatic at the 36-minute mark.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

Interview: T1 Xepher leaves viewers giggling after comments on ‘Master Kuku’ and ‘Whitemon’s Ignition’

T1 is almost done with its quota of series in the SEA 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division, having played six out of the seven series. Their final match against OB.Neon is some time away as it is scheduled for May 20, 2021. Talking about the team’s practice plans in the forthcoming days, Xepher stated,

“Actually, I am not really sure because I am not the one who makes the plans. It’s only my master Kuku and my coach, March. I am just a follower. So, I don’t know.

Speaking about what caused the bad form at the start of the league, Xepher said,

“Hmm, we also don't know. I don’t know what happened. But after Whitemon sang Ignition, we are getting hyped and we are getting better. So much power from him. Then, everybody suddenly started playing well also.”

Lizard asked Xepher if Whitemon sings Ignition when they are in the middle of a game.

“Yeah, sometimes he is singing,” said Xepher. “But he needs to wait for master Kuku to tell him. (laughs)”
