Virtus.pro have heavily eclipsed Na’Vi in the classic CIS derby in the CIS 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division to win the series 2-0. The shaky roster of Na’Vi proved to be no match to the in-form side of Virtus.pro as the latter had the stronger drafts, played the laning phase in a better way and showcased superior spellcasting with the series ending in less than an hour. With its conclusion, Virtus.pro occupies the top spot in the CIS regional league alongside Team Spirit with four wins in four series. On the other hand, Na’Vi has not looked in their best form in the tournament and slip to the fourth spot in the points table with two wins in four series.

Virtus.pro vs Na’Vi: Match Recap, Highlights and Interview

Recap

Game 1 witnessed the annihilation of Na’Vi heroes as Virtus.pro outmatched their opponents right from the drafts to the gameplay execution. Na’Vi had no tricks up their sleeves and could muster a total of two kills in the 32 minutes game.

Game 2 was another absolute stomp by Virtus.pro as they played clean and crisp Dota 2. RAMZES666 and his teammates tried to be creative by picking an offlane Broodmother but they were outplayed in every aspect. They lost the game in just 20 minutes with an unfavorable scoreline of 19-3.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series

Virtus.pro continues to dominate the CIS region after an undefeated run in the first season. Though they did not deliver at the Singapore Major, they still look like a formidable bunch of Dota 2 players who can make a mark at the international level.

Interview: Virtus.pro Save- talks about Na’Vi’s last pick Broodmother

Virtus.pro’s captain, Vitalie "Save-" Melnic, talked about their opponents’ last pick Broodmother in the second game of the series.

“Not really much (on having experience playing against Broodmother in the offlane). We didn’t play a single scrim against Brood. But we knew RAMZES could pick it. I think we just found a pretty good hero in the last pick, we got the Troll and I think it was good for us.”
