SyndereN Explains Why Nigma Needs to Have Miracle- in the Mid Role

Miracle- is most potent and effective in the mid role, according to popular Dota 2 player turned commentator Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen. In the “We Say Things” podcast numbered 100, syndereN explained why Team Nigma performed the best when they had Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi playing as their midlaner. Miracle-’s virtues of making great plays were best represented when the Jordanian player occupied the mid lane for Team Nigma, the commentator said. In addition, he also mentioned that their former midlaner’s replacement, Igor "iLTW" Filatov, who is expected to play as their carry, is a decent addition to the roster of TI7 champions.

SyndereN Talks about the importance of having Miracle- in the mid lane for Team Nigma
Miracle-’s return to the mid role is being predicted by many of Team Nigma’s fans after the team's former midlaner, Aliwi "w33" Omar, was replaced by the CIS carry player, Igor "iLTW" Filatov.
SyndereN, in the podcast, talked about how Team Nigma have the potential to get back to their winning ways if they put Miracle- in the mid lane. According to the Danish commentator, Miracle-’s ability to make incredible plays has always been reflected best when he played as the team’s midlaner. In the carry role, a player is restricted in a different way, according to syndereN.
“I think without knowing the true dynamic of how Nigma works on an internal level, I think this team thrives off having Miracle- mid. I really think so. I think it’s his best role. I think it’s the way he gets to shine the most because from my perspective. What has always made Miracle- so incredible is his ability to have the foresight and having incredible play-making potential. You are just limited in a different way on the carry role.
I feel Miracle- cannot play to this full potential in that role, it just doesn’t allow him to do what he is best at. It’s kind of like putting SumaiL in carry. I feel the exact same way about that guy.”
Image Via Team Nigma SyndereN then mentioned that he was certain that Team Nigma was going to put Miracle- back to the mid lane while w33’s replacement, iLTW, has joined them as their carry player. SyndereN also talked highly of iLTW as he feels that the CIS carry is a great player, and he would do just fine in the team despite the lack of belief in him by many members of the community.
“I think iLTW is a great player. He hasn’t had the most success in previous teams but I wouldn’t say it is…. He even played for OG for a while, so they obviously see value in him. The fact that it did not work does not mean it was entirely his fault or his fault at all. There are a lot of dynamic and moving pieces in teams, so a lot of people are like, “Oh no, not ILTW.” But I think he is going to do fine, personally, and I think the big piece is moving Miracle- back to mid. I think that’s going to revive this team at a higher level.”
iLTW has previously played for iconic Dota 2 teams like OG and Virtus.pro but has had only short active playing periods with these teams. He will now be aiming for a long successful stint with another superstar team, Team Nigma.

The TI7 champions with Miracle- probably back in the mid lane and a fresh infusion of young blood in the form of iLTW will be looking to regain their foregone glory in the EU DPC 2021 Season 2: Upper Division. They have a tough matchup in their first series in the league as they play against Team Secret on April 18, 2021.
