  • Lao carry player, JaCkky, has become the second player after 23savage to reach the 12K MMR mark.
  • JaCkky also communicated that he is looking for a new team. He will not be playing with the recently announced Dota 2 stack, Team D, which comprised JaCkky, ninjaboogie, Ponlo, Deth and Fearless.
  • JaCkky decided to part ways with Team D because he has a "burning desire" to play in the second Major of the DPC season. He will now have to replace a carry player in an Upper Division team to have any chances of fulfilling this desire.

JaCkky continues to prove his prowess as a Dota 2 player as he has reached the milestone of 12K MMR. The former T1 carry player took just three months to gain a 1,000 MMR as he had reached the 11K mark on December 30, 2020. Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong is only the second player after Thai carry, Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, to have entered this elite list of 12K MMR. Both the young carry players hail from the SEA region and have achieved this feat while other professionals of the game are still striving to get to 11K. JaCkky shared this incredible personal achievement through his social media handles while also stating that he was ‘LFT.’

JaCkky reaches 12K MMR

The Lao carry player has gradually climbed the ranks in recent times as he has now become only the second player to hit 12K MMR. He is currently positioned on top of the SEA Dota 2 leaderboards chart.

Interestingly, the only two players on the 12K MMR list, JaCkky and 23savage, were recently involved in T1’s controversial roster change. T1 parted ways with JaCkky despite him helping the team qualify for the Singapore Major. 23savage, who had hit the 12K MMR mark a day before this roster change, was then signed by the Korean organization.

Considering the former T1 carry player's spectacular feat in ranked matchmaking, we might see him getting signed by a top team very soon.

JaCkky is looking for a new team

While the Lao carry player has crossed this landmark of 12K MMR, he communicated that he was ‘LFT.’ Singaporean player, Remus “Ponlo” Goh Zhi Xian, who had recently announced a new team, comprising JaCkky and ninjaboogie, has now informed through a Twitter post that the Lao player decided to part ways with this new team, Team D.

Ponlo mentioned that he had decided to part ways because he had a “burning desire” to play in the next Major of the 2021 DPC Season. Since Team D was going to participate in the open qualifiers, they would only be able to qualify for the Lower Division. In such a scenario, the team can not qualify for the Major since only the top three teams from the SEA Upper Division are granted a Major spot.

Indonesian player, Muhammad "inYourdreaM" Rizky, will be the likely replacement of the Lao carry, Ponlo communicated. Team D’s probable roster for the upcoming open qualifiers.

  1. Muhammad "inYourdreaM" Rizky
  2. Poomipat "Fearless" Trisiripanit
  3. Yang "Deth" Wu Heng
  4. Remus “Ponlo” Goh Zhi Xian
  5. Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross Jr.

Since the Lao carry player wishes to perform at the next Major, he will no longer be seen playing the qualifiers for the 2021 DPC Season 2. Instead, he will be looking to directly replace a carry player in an Upper Division team.
