PSG.LGD vs Elephant Tiebreaker: Match Recap and Highlights

March 14, 2021, marked the last day of the 2021 DPC Season 1 as the Chinese region witnessed a couple of final tiebreakers. PSG.LGD defeated Elephant in the first one to become the final Chinese DPC team that moves to the Major.

Game 1 proved to be a very slow game as both teams’ cores resorted to farming. However, Ame’s Juggernaut grew comparatively stronger as he was able to hit the high ground easily. Elephant, despite having a lot of items on their cores, could not engage in teamfights as they kept losing their base and eventually the game in 43 minutes.

Game 2 saw Eurus have a disastrous laning phase on Ursa as he died three times in the first seven minutes. PSG.LGD never allowed their enemies to get a hold of the game as they kept engaging in small skirmishes and killing Elephant’s heroes. Though no team had a sizable networth lead at the 20-minute mark, it heavily shifted into PSG.LGD’s favor after they won a  couple of teamfights, winning the game in 30 minutes.

Invictus Gaming also beat Team Aster 2-1 in the second tiebreaker series to secure the first seed in the points table and also a Major playoffs spot.
