T1 vs Execration: Results and Highlights
The cores of T1 delivered an impressive performance to help them register their third series victory in the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division.
In game 1, after a relatively quiet first 15 minutes, T1 became bloodthirsty and started picking off enemy heroes with Karl’s Puck and Kuku’s Legion Commander. JaCkky was also able to assist with his Arc Warden clone. In the teamfights as well, T1 always came out with favorable numbers which allowed them to establish a strong lead and win the first game in 44 minutes.
Game 2 saw Karl deliver a flawless performance in the mid lane on Batrider. He made all the right map movements, played around his cooldowns as he hunted down enemy heroes. Yowe for Execration single-handedly kept his team alive and at one stage was close to securing them a win. However, T1 was more potent as a team, which allowed them to end the game in their favor in 49 minutes.
Fnatic vs 496 Gaming: Results and Highlights
Fnatic registered their fourth series victory of the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division by overpowering 496 Gaming in the second series of the day.
Game 1 witnessed 496 let go of their early game lead by taking some bad fights. In almost every mid game fight, they had poor positioning, which allowed Fnatic to set up easy Static Storms and Ravages. Even DJ was spot on with his Hookshots on Clockwerk. Their cores capitalized on all this space as Fnatic won game 1 in 32 minutes.
Game 2 was an easy game for Fnatic as they won all three lanes. 496 had snowballing cores in the form of Queen of Pain and Slark, and as a result of this tough laning phase, they considerably lagged behind enemy cores in the mid game. At 33 minutes when they won the game, Fnatic was even killing 496’s heroes in their Fountain.
