Carry player for Cignal Ultra, Denz Daryll "Abat" Anedez, announced just hours ago on Facebook that he is looking for a new team. This revelation has come amidst the DPC-SEA 2021 qualifiers where Cignal Ultra is currently competing for a spot in the Lower Division.

Cignal Ultra Carry Player, Abat, Announces Search For A New Team

Abat communicated that he was looking for a new team which directly means that the Filipino will no longer be playing for Cignal Ultra.

Cignal Ultra has not made any official statement on the same as they continue to play in Stage 2 of the closed qualifier at DPC-SEA 2021 S1. Apparently, Abat played for the team today in their first series against Team Veteran but was replaced by a Filipino player, Jae, in the second series of the day against HOYO.

However, after losing the first game of the series against HOYO, they forfeited the second for unknown reasons, and lost the series 0-2.

The forfeit of the match combined with the ‘LFT’ communication by Abat seemingly indicates a drastic change for the organization’s roster.

Considered as one of the up and coming young players in the position 1 role, Abat had been a part of the team for nearly one year now as he joined in January 2020. With him in the line up, Cignal Ultra’s best results came at tournaments like Law of Inertia League, SEA Dota Invitational 2020 and Cyber.bet Cup: Spring Series - SEA where they secured the runner-up spots.

It is going to be interesting to know what pans out for Abat and his seemingly former team, Cignal Ultra. Considering the team is yet to book a spot in the Lower Division as they play their next series in Stage 2 tomorrow, January 10, a public statement by them related to this might be on the cards.
