The winner of Open Qualifier #3, VISdota has been disqualified from the tournament for playing with a banned player for this tournament.

PGL has announced that there will be a 3rd place decider to determine the last team to qualify to the Closed Qualifiers. As a result, Indonesian-Indian stack SADBOYS and the Mongolian team Lilgun will be competing for the spot in the Closed Qualifiers.

On January 5th, Valve issued a lifetime ban to Chinese Dota 2 player, Deska and three other players who were part of the Avengerls team that was involved in the match fixing scheme with Newbee.

“Perfect World and Valve have decided to permanently ban Team Avengerls and the five players, who are forbidden to participate in any official Dota 2 Tournaments organized by Valve and Perfect World.”

However, despite this ban, the player went on to compete in the SEA Open Qualifiers with VisDota2 and went on to win the Open Qualifiers #3.
