In a stream session last night, Sccc explained that he just could not reach a compromise with the other party without disclosing their name.

“It is understandable, everyone has their own point of view. It was not meant to be so I’ll just take some time for myself. Both of us had our own concerns and I would rest for now.” Sccc told his audience.

In the stream, he also mentioned his intent to move to his hometown, Nanchang. He elaborated that after actively competing for so many years and winning a handsome share of the prize pool at TI7, he had not managed to buy a house and living in Shanghai was proving to be a costly affair. The best option was to relocate to his hometown for a while and stream until he finds a place where he can adjust with lower everyday expenses.

After 3 successful years with Newbee, Sccc joined Team Aster in September 2019. However, he had mixed results on this team, having won only the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3.
