Xepher Will Be Standing in For Fnatic

The announcement states that Xepher will be competing in Fnatic in the ongoing tournament.

The Southeast Asian team will be playing in the BTS Pro Series Season 3 tournament. Unfortunately, the team has not yet been able to replace Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang who recently took a break from competitive Dota until the restart of the DPC. Hence, they had to find someone to stand-in for the Singaporean offlaner, in his place.

Previously former T1 offlaner, Lee "Forev" Sang-don played as the stand-in, at the ESL One Thailand 2020 tournament. However, it appears that Fnatic has decided to go in a different direction for this tournament.

So Fnatic’s lineup for the BTS Pro Series Season 3 will be:

  • Marc Polo “Raven” Luic Fausto
  • Kam “Moon” Boon Seng
  • Kenny "Xepher" Deo
  • Djardel “DJ” Mampusti
  • Nico "eyyou" Barcelon

It is unclear on whether Xepher will be playing as a support or as an offlaner. Previously, Filipino player Djardel Jicko B. "DJ" Mampusti played as an offlaner in Execration was back in 2016, so there is definitely adaptability in the squad.
