Captain and Position 5 player Kim "DuBu" Doo-young is officially leaving Geek Fam ahead of the ESL One: Los Angeles 2020 Major, the team announced earlier today.

This leaves the SEA team without a drafter heading into a crucial part of the season. The team is currently in 18th position with 136 DPC Points against their name. They really need to pickup the pace and qualify for DPC Majors to challenge for a direct invite to TI 10.

DuBu joined the SEA team after the conclusion of The International 9 and managed to lead his team to Two Minors in a row. He managed to claim 5th-6th Place at The Summit 11 and a 3rd Place finish at the WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020.

Geek Fam is yet to announce an official replacement for the South Korean. However, a few rumours are making the rounds, stating that Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross Jr. will be joining the team as his replacement.
