Geek Fam to battle NiP, RNG and Team Spirit in the Group Stages of the Weplay! Bukovel Minor

The Dota Pro Circuit 2019-20 is all set to kick off with its first tournament of the new year with the Weplay! Bukovel Minor 2020 featuring some of the most popular teams in the world including Kuroky’s Team Nigma, Geek Farm, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fighting Pandas.

It will be an intense battle for the championship which features a prize pool of $300,000 as well as 660 DPC points and more importantly a spot in the DreamLeague Season 13: Leipzig Major.

The Groups for the tournament have already been announced by Weplay! 

Although Group A is quite strong featuring top-notch teams like NiP, Geek Fam and RNG; Group B features the favourites for this tournament Team Nigma. So both groups are arguably evenly balanced.

Geek Fam needs to secure a Top 2 spot in the Group Stages to qualify for the playoffs where they will need to battle through a Double Elimination bracket to win the tournament and qualify for the upcoming Major.

It is a tall ask, especially considering the calibre of teams that are competing in this tournament. But the Filipino team is more than capable of pulling out a surprise victory at this Minor.
