Tigers has finally started to settle dues with its players

With multiple reports of non-payment of dues over the course of the last few days, the tier two Dota 2 scene looks quite bleak at the moment. Vega Squadron, Aachen City Esports and Iceberg Esports are amongst the teams that have been accused in the past few weeks.

However, it looks like at least one team is trying to fix its reputation and rectify its situation.

Earlier this year, right after the TI9 Qualifiers, David "MoonMeander" Tan accused Tigers of not paying his share of the Dreamleague Season 10 Minor and the Kuala Lumpur Major, prize winnings. Kenny “Xepher” Deo supported these claims publicly, stating that he too didn’t receive his cut of the payments.

But it finally looks like the Tigers management have started to pay out the money that the organization owes to the players, with Theeban "1437" Siva tweeting that he had received his share.

The former manager of Tigers, Teng “Xero” Dawei also tweeted stating that “Moonmeander, Ahjit, Xepher and InYourDream has received (recently) their cut from KL Major and DreamLeague.”

However, Tigers are not fully out of the woods yet. They are still yet to pay a portion of Kim "Velo" Tae-sung and Xepher’s salary before that can happen.

But it is pleasing to see progress made on this front by Tigers.
