Na’Vi Drop Flamie From Starting Roster for 2 CS:GO Tournaments, Announce Kyiv Bootcamp
- Na'Vi replace flamie with B1T on their starting CS:GO roster for both DH Masters Spring 2021 and upcoming first RMR tournament.
- A bootcamp is being organized by Na'Vi in Kyiv from 11 to 24 April, for the starting 5 players to practice with each other.

Natus Vincere has decided to rest their senior member Egor “flamie” Vasilev from their starting CS:GO roster for 2 upcoming tournaments - DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 and the first RMR tournament for the CIS region which is yet unannounced. The 18-year-old Ukrainian rifler Valerii "B1T" Vakhovskyi who has been playing with the main Na’Vi roster as a substitute for quite some time, will be flamie’s replacement in the starting five. Na’Vi mentioned that as Valve had made it clear that they will not be changing the substitution rules, they had to lock down the final roster to avoid any sort of a penalty, choosing B1T over flamie due to the latter’s disappointing string of performances over the last 6 tournaments.

Na’Vi chooses B1T over flamie for the main CS:GO roster
Na’Vi has chosen the young rising star B1T over flamie for the upcoming DreamHack and RMR CS:GO tournaments. As the team will not be able to rely on effective substitutions during the RMR 2021 events, due to a compounding 20% penalty being levied on the team every time they make a player switch, Na’Vi is back to playing with a stable five-man CS:GO roster.
“The first RMR tournament will start soon, and Valve made it clear that they do not intend to change the rules. Na’Vi needs as many points as possible to qualify for the Major. In this regard, the team had to coordinate the final roster for the next tournament to avoid penalty points.”
Though an initial statement on the matter has been made by the CIS based esports organization, a more detailed video on the same will be released by Na’Vi next week where the team’s coach Andrii “B1ad3” Gorodenskyi will provide a detailed breakdown behind taking this decision.
“Na’Vi will play at DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 with this roster as well. This will give the team enough time to prepare every map before the start of RMR, taking into account B1T’s positions and role.”
B1T has been part of Natus Vincere’s main active CS:GO roster for quite some time now, having played with them as a temporary substitute player in BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020, IEM Katowice 2021, IEM Global Challenge 2020, and ESL Pro League Season 13.

In order for the new starting five to get accustomed to each other and practice together, Na’Vi is organizing a bootcamp in Kyiv from 11-24 April. The team will get a chance to practice here before participating in their next tournament - DreamHack Masters Spring 2021, which is scheduled to take place from 29 April - 5 May.
