  • ZywOo, dev1ce, MATUMBAMAN, Perkz - 4 esports athletes feature in 'Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2021 - Sports & Games'.
  • This is the second year in a row that dev1ce has been featured on this list, last year he was accompanied by Swedish legend olofmeister.
  • Apart from these esports athletes, many individuals related to the world of gaming were also included in this list.

CS:GO superstars Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz have been featured in ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2021’ under the category of ‘Sports & Games’. The list featuring a good mix of athletes and personalities across different sports and games was released earlier today on 8 April 2021. It includes multiple esports athletes across various titles like Dota 2, CS:GO, and League of Legends. This is the second year in a row that dev1ce has been featured in ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 - Sports & Games’, last year the Swedish legend Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson had also featured alongside him.

ZywOo

One of the best CS:GO players in the world, the French superstar ZywOo is a beast who is regarded by many as the most talented individual in the game currently. He has already achieved the feat of becoming the youngest CS:GO player in the world to have taken the top spot two years in a row, on the reputed HLTV ‘CS:GO Player of The Year’ rankings.

Apart from that, he has been the centerpiece of Team Vitality’s rise to fame within competitive Counter-Strike. The French team might not have won a lot of tournaments last year but they were by far the most consistent team during a problematic online era of competition. The team has been going through a rough patch since the start of the 2021 season, but ZywOo continues to deliver on an individual level.

Often compared to Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, the French AWPer completely deserves to be on this list, having achieved so much already at the age of just 20. The only achievement that ZywOo needs to secure now is a win at a CS:GO Major, maybe at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 scheduled to take place later this year.

Dev1ce

The certified GOAT (greatest of all time) of Counter-Strike, the talented Danish AWPer dev1ce is one of the most consistent players in the history of the game. He has everything from highlight performances, insane statistics, and 4 CS:GO Major titles to his name, to prove what a devastating player he can be when armed with the bolt action rifle.

The two-time Major MVP is the backbone of Astralis, as he manages to shine bright in a team full of stars. He might not be the most flashy player but he is certainly the most reliable, as he sticks to the basics and gets the job done when called upon in a clutch situation.

This is the second year in a row that dev1ce has been featured on the list, last time alongside olofmeister and this time against one of the best players that Counter-Strike has to offer ZywOo.

Apart from the CS:GO greats, the 2 other esports athletes on the list are Finnish professional Dota 2 player Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen who is the winner of ‘The International 2017’ and one of the most accomplished European League of Legends players Luka "Perkz" Perković who currently plays for Cloud9.
