European Development Championship Season 3

The third season of the European Development Championship is here just 2 months after the conclusion of the last season, where the German lineup of Sprout fought their way through to a victory. Receiving a direct invite once again this time, it will be interesting to see if they can successfully defend their title or not.

The Group Stage will witness the 16 teams - 12 directly invited, the remaining 4 making their way through various qualifiers, being divided into 4 equal groups. The top 2 teams from each group will further qualify onto the Playoffs stage.

The opening matches of the Group Stage will be a single game affair followed by all other matches being a best-of-three series. On the other hand, the Playoffs stage will feature a best-of-three matchup right from the very start across a single-elimination format.

While Sprout will be looking to defend their title by winning the third season of the tournament, they will be facing stiff competition especially from DBL PONEY which is a pickup team consisting of tier-one players like Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro, and Lucas "Lucky" Chastang.

The tournament will be taking place from 7 April - 2 May, with more information about the Group Stage division to be announced soon. The tournament will be broadcasted live on Twitch on both the Eden Esports’ channels. This is a brilliant grassroots level CS:GO tournament which provides tier-two teams to showcase their talent and climb the ladder to participate in more international tournaments.
