Natus Vincere has signed the 13-year-old Ukrainian CS:GO player Dmytro “Dem0N” Myroshnychenko to its Academy roster - Natus Vincere Junior. Na’Vi signs 13-year-old prodigy to academy roster

Natus Vincere has started recruiting new talents for the academy team after a few slots opened up due to the departure of 3 players from the Na’Vi Junior’s active roster. One of the fresh new picks is the 13-year-old Ukrainian prodigy Dem0N who boasts a headshot accuracy of 58% across 1977 matches, which is definitely a commendable feat.

The 3 players who have been benched were 20 or above, which was one main reason for them to be pulled out of the Academy roster as they were simply outgrowing the purpose of putting together an academy roster. Offers are awaited for all the 3 players at the moment.

In addition to this Na’Vi also announced the following, “in the near future a new Junior- roster will be formed from the players of the NAVI academy. A website for accepting applications to the academy will also be launched.”

This means that young players from the CIS region will be soon undergoing a public or a closed tryout exercise or session, in order to book themselves a slot on Na’Vi Junior. Alexey "xaoc" Kucherov - Chief Operating Officer of Na’Vi shared his own thoughts on the signing, saying that

“We are constantly looking for new talents and try to help them develop. Sometimes even very young players already show good potential. A 13-year-old talented guy is just such a case when we must look strategically far ahead. We are pleased to support Dima in his professional career and will make every effort to ensure that at the age of 16 he terrifies the best teams in the world."

The current Na’Vi Junior roster is as follows,

  • Valeriy "B1T" Vakhovskiy
  • Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
  • Eugene "Aunkere" Karyat
  • Rodion "fear" Smyk
