Top 5 Plays From ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Festival 2020

5. The USP-S Solo Hold

This was probably the sickest pistol round performance of the entire tournament where Jeremy “motion” Lloyd from Control Esports single-handedly defended the ‘A-Site’ on Overpass. Armed with just a USP-S, motion played the round brilliantly achieving a clutch ace as he held on to dear life stuck between ‘Toilet’ and ‘Sign Post’.

4. Deagle Instant Double Kill

The fastest shooter in town, this double headshot with a Deagle took place so quickly that you have to watch the clip twice to see it properly. This sick play was made by BL4ZE Esports’ Rafael “Raph” Marcal during their first map of the grand finals against 2ez Gaming, at the South Asian regional tournament. Raph single-handedly stopped the opposition’s two-way rush into the ‘B-Site’.

3. Well-Timed 1v3 Clutch

Bebu “bibu” Aadil from NASR Esports’ is under the spotlight for this beautifully played 1v3 post-plant clutch against Corrupted, during the Middle East qualifier. The high-pressure situation seemed to have pushed bibu to his limits and he did not disappoint, all alone he took care of the situation with some well-timed movement and accurate sprays on the ‘A-Site’ of Nuke.

2. The Long Drawn Clutch

Facing off against BL4ZE Esports in their opening match of the South Asian regional tournament, Wasted Potential gave it their best shot and this long drawn clutch by Atharva “3vilpr1nc3” Joshi was one of the best ‘big brain’ rounds of the entire tournament. The first pistol round on Overpass and Atharva was right on the money with this one, clutching a 1v2 on the back of this highly tactical gameplay.

1. The spray king

The experienced Turkish rifler Engin “ngiN“ Kor held the line for his side Sangal Esport a bit too well against Lets Go on the second map Nuke, during the Middle East regional tournament. Armed with a rifle (M4A4), ngiN had a golden spray moment when the whole Lets Go lineup ran into his spray, gifting him with a quad kill before he quickly shifted to his pistol and claimed the last kill as well to complete a flawless ace. This was probably the best spray of the entire tournament and just overall made for a perfect gameplay clip!

These were some of the best plays that we came across ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Festival 2020. Yes, there were other many exciting plays as well and overall the tournament was a huge success despite the circumstances. It will be interesting to see if we return to LAN in Shanghai with the next season of ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND or not.
