VAC Banned CS:GO Pro Jamppi Might Step Down From ENCE

The Finnish esports organization ENCE had found itself stuck in the middle of a huge controversy last year in December, as Aleksi “allu” Jalli had criticised his former teammate Jere “sergej” Salo while also addressing a long-pending clarification on Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen’s controversial kick from the team.

ENCE had conducted an internal evaluation of the situation with their CS:GO team which had resulted in their in-game leader Miikka “suNny” Kemppi parting ways with the organization. With a plan to rebuild their CS:GO team underway, reports have now surfaced that one of their most talented players might be stepping down from the roster.

The VAC banned Finn Jamppi, who is currently fighting a lawsuit against Valve in a local Finnish court is also considering switching over to Valorant instead. He has already been witnessed streaming a lot of Valorant for some time now, keeping the FPL (FACEIT Pro League) grind as his second priority.

This reported decision seems to have the CS:GO community’s support as the general outlook towards the situation was that this is a smart move by Jamppi. With ENCE not in a great situation at the moment and the future of the lawsuit not looking too bright, the consensus was that this is the absolute best way forward for him.

It will be interesting to see if this report actually turns out to be true or not. Valorant is slowly picking up steam, and with the 2021 circuit already planned out by Riot Games’, this can be the perfect opportunity for Jamppi to try his hand at the game competitively.
