Top 10 Best CS:GO Plays - 2020

10. Robin "flusha" Ronnquist - Sneaky Knife Kills

The 27-year-old Swede flusha, who had the second most knife kills in 2020 starts off our list with this sneaky double knife kill against mousesports on Mirage. Woxic and ropz were making their way towards ‘B-Apps’ unaware that flusha had successfully managed to lurk behind them, as they both got stabbed in the back.

9. Egor "flamie" Vasilev - Galil OP

Galil might have a bad reputation for not being the ideal rifle to play with, but flamie showed everyone that in the hands of the right player any weapon is equally lethal. Holding ‘Upper Ramp’ on Nuke, flamie mowed down the entire Astralis lineup with a Galil as they ran straight towards him in a line.

8. Francois "AmaNEk" Delaunay - Patience Of A Saint

Going up against Astralis on Inferno, AmaNEk started things off with a bang for G2 Esports as he showcased extreme trigger discipline by holding a small corner in ‘B-Apps’. He went unnoticed as Magisk, dupreeh, and Xyp9x crossed him, only to be taken down with three crisp headshots.

7. Ricky "floppy" Kemery - One Man Show

21-year-old North American rifler floppy put on a one-man show against mousesports during the second pistol round on Nuke at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020. He took down every single member of the opposite team while also defusing the C4 to win his side a much-needed round.

6. Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev - The AWP God

This story has been told a thousand times in the past, the only things that change are the teams and the maps. Team Liquid was on the receiving end of s1mple’s barrel this time, as the Ukrainian AWPer went berserk clutching a 1v4 in a post-plant situation on Dust 2.

5.  Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov - Lightning Fast Flicks

CeRq has wrists made of rubber. The Evil Geniuses AWPer hit some unbelievable flick shots with the AWP, single-handedly stopping the 100 Thieves rotation from the outside on Nuke. He took four kills in a matter of seconds, flicking left and right at lightning speed to secure the round for his side.

4. Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz - Play Worth A Graffiti

A name that might not top the list of CS:GO’s best AWPer but is always a part of it, dev1ce pulled off a mind-blowing once in a blue moon play against Team Liquid on Dust 2 which witnessed the CS:GO community requesting Valve for a new graffiti.

3. Chris "chrisJ" de Jong - Post Plant Ace

The 30-year-old Dutch pro single-handedly dismantled the Na’Vi lineup on Train during ICE Challenge 2020. He did everything from planting the C4, to hunting down the entire Na’Vi roster, and securing a very important round for his side.

2. Rene "TeSeS" Madsen - Insane Spray Transfer

TeSeS would have had no idea going into the match against Vitality on Mirage that he would be delivering what is being called as ‘The Best Spray Transfer in the History of CS:GO’. That is a fitting title for an absolute banger of a spray down that the Dane showcased to secure a quadra kill.

1. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut - The 9 HP Pistol Ace

The best play of 2020 came off ZywOo’s Glock as he connected four consecutive headshots on just 9 HP to deliver a huge blow to Na’Vi’s confidence. This stunning play was made during the grand final of IEM Beijing 2020 on the last and final map Mirage, Na’Vi had a four-man advantage against a lone ZywOo but still could not manage to win the round.
