Former 100 Thieves CS:GO Players Might Compete Together Again
- Four of the five former 100 Thieves CS:GO players might be reuniting again.
- They are reportedly in discussions with a Russian esports organization 'EXTREMUM'.
- The recent controversy involving jkaem and Apeks adds fuel to the fire.
100 Thieves announced their exit from CS:GO in October earlier this year. Since then two out of their five players have been successfully picked up by other organizations, Justin “jks” Savage by Complexity Gaming and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad by Apeks.
While jks has settled in well with Complexity, jkaem as per a report by DBLTAP seems to be in talks with his former 100 Thieves teammates Aaron “AZR” Ward, Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, and Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai, to play together once again under a Russian esports organization EXTREMUM.

Former 100 Thieves CS:GO Players Might Reunite
EXTREMUM is a Russian esports organization mostly known for its Dota 2 team, they do have a CS:GO roster as well which mostly competes in local tournaments within the CIS region. As per a report, the four ex-100 Thieves players are in discussions with this organization to play under their banner while competing in the European region.
In theory, this looks like a win-win situation for both the sides involved because the former 100 Thieves lineup never wanted to disband intentionally. Their aim was to move from North America and compete in Europe something which was not in sync with what 100 Thieves wanted from the lineup.
This current arrangement with EXTREMUM might be their way of achieving what they always wanted to do while still staying together. The Russian organization also benefits from this as they get a chance to properly expand their CS:GO roster internationally, with four motivated players who have been playing together since their Renegade days.

Together these guys under the 100 Thieves banner might not have been able to win big but had multiple great outings throughout 2020. Three of the four players, AZR, Liazz, and Gratisfaction, are still under contract with 100 Thieves while jkaem is currently signed by a Norwegian organization Apeks.
The recent controversy surrounding jkaem where Apeks announced the player’s departure from the organization by stating that he had “received an offer he felt he could not refuse and has been brought out of his contract” only adds fuel to this report.
