Fnatic rifler Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson has been handed a VAC ban on his Steam account as the Swede reported the same via Twitter reaching out to both CS:GO and Valve for help in order to rectify the issue which according to his response seems to be a false ban, but nothing can be said for certain at this point of time.

Krimz Steam Account Receives A VAC Ban

The 26-year-old Swede took to Twitter less than an hour ago to notify everyone that he had received a VAC ban on his Steam account. He tagged CS:GO’s Twitter handle in his post but till now no action seems to have been taken by the developers, no public response from their side has come forward at the time of writing this article.

The news has already gone viral in the CS:GO community as some come forward stating that Krimz deserved this and his cheating has finally been exposed while others argue that it is a false VAC ban which will be taken care off by Valve soon enough.

One particular user went the extra mile and ran a check on Krimz Steam account using a third-party website which shows that he was not 'Overwatch Banned' or 'Community Banned' which might hint that no cheating was involved, this is not an official statement and is only based on the information presented by the website.

At the moment nothing can be said for certain and everything being discussed is mostly just speculation which has to be taken with a pinch of salt. Having said that it is true that Valve’s ‘Overwatch System’ has recently come under fire multiple times as the community-driven anti-cheat system seems to have been sabotaged by cheaters who now use it to get legit players banned from the game.

Fnatic is currently competing in Flashpoint Season 2 where they have successfully managed to qualify for the playoffs after winning their Group-A matches. The Swedish lineup is scheduled to go up against Dignitas on 1st December so hopefully, Krimz will be able to recover his Steam account by then otherwise it might not be possible for him to play that match.

The organization seems to have run into a bit of bad luck despite facing success in the ongoing tournament as just a week back another player from their lineup Robin “flusha” Ronnquist was convicted of tax evasion and now Krimz has received an unexpected VAC ban on his Steam account.
