Pros Choose dev1ce over s1mple as the GOAT of Counter-Strike

Despite being widely considered as the best player in the world by the community, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev could not beat Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz when it came to a few professional players and talents answering, ‘Who do they consider as the GOAT of Counter-Strike?’ in an interview with Rivalry.

Out of the eight Counter-Strike personalities that answered the questions, four chose dev1ce as their all-time favorites while s1mple tied alongside f0rest with two votes each. It looks like the Danish AWPer might not possess skills that are on par with that of s1mple’s but his game sense and the ability to be such a great team player is what puts him slightly higher on the podium when it comes to all-time greats.

While dev1ce might have taken the win this time, there is no doubt that the 23-year-old Ukrainian star is the most lethal player at the moment. And with the recent form shown by Na’Vi during IEM Katowice 2020, it doesn’t look like that s1mple will be stopping anytime soon.
