Former Windigo Gaming player Kamen “bubble” Kostadinov via a tweet revealed that Windigo Gaming still hasn’t received their due prize money from WESG more than 10 months after WESG 2018 came to an end on 17th March 2019.

Windigo Gaming who were the winners of WESG 2018 won a total of $500,000 in prize money which still hasn’t been paid to them. Despite WESG reaching out to the organization on 31st October 2019, as confirmed by ex-CEO of Windigo Gaming - Maksym “GuunaR” Bednarskyi.

The Ukranian organization ceased its operation on 1st November 2019, releasing all the players from their contracts. At that moment Maksym had reported non-payment of prize money from WESG, EPL Season 9, EPL Season 10, and Moche XL, promising to transfer the players their share of the prize money as soon as it was deposited in their account.

In the public report, Maksym had stated how WESG was already beyond the deadline of 8th October and still hadn’t paid them the winners’ prize money, to which WESG had responded via an email to the organization.

But surprisingly even after more than two months since that mail, the prize money has not been received by the organization. The next season of WESG is about to start in two months time, the date has not been confirmed yet but it will definitely be taking place in the month of March.
