With the dates closing in on Christmas, Valve has dropped it’s ‘Christmas Patch Update’ with some features mirroring those that were introduced in the past, along with the addition of a few new ones.

Snowballs, festive chickens, and freeze frame holidays are back, along with the ‘2020 Service Medal’, which will be awarded for outstanding service and achievement starting from 1st January 2020.

Jungle is the only map to have undergone a few changes in this patch, along with a small update to the navmesh for Office, so as to prevent bots from getting stuck.

Another major change introduced is resolving a sound issue that had been causing quite some problems, along with adjustment of weights on several end of match accolades.

Well, with the Christmas patch dropping in, it will be back to gift wrapped C4’s being planted, getting smacked by snowballs, and sweater-wearing chickens running all around Inferno.
