The ESL Pro League Season 10 - Asia came to an end yesterday with TYLOO making its way through to the main event, which is scheduled to take place from 3rd-8th December in Odense, Denmark.
Out of the four teams that qualified through to the second group stage, TYLOO beat Lucid Dream, Invictus Gaming, and ALPHA Red in straight sets of three ‘2-0’ matches, to qualify for the main event.
Team | Score | Round Difference | Points |
TYLOO | 3 - 0 | +38 | 9 |
Lucid Dream | 1 - 2 | -4 | 3 |
Invictus Gaming | 1 - 2 | -8 | 3 |
ALPHA Red | 1 - 2 | -26 | 3 |
TYLOO might have qualified for the main stage but the team is not in its best form, they are a volatile team with heavy instability. They recently lost to EHOME in the Chinese Qualifier of EPICENTER 2019 and then go undefeated in this one.
The Chinese kingpins are currently playing in ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2019 where they have yet remained undefeated, going into the playoffs and then defeating the Mongolian squad of AUGUST to move into the semifinals.
Till now TYLOO has been taking the last berth on the placement sheet in all their recent outings including IEM Beijing, DreamHack Masters Malmo, and StarLadder Berlin Major. With a bunch of tournaments lined up before the end of the year, let’s see if TYLOO can finish strong or go into the next year struggling.
