Kirill ‘ANGE1’ Karasiow, who used to be the IGL for the Ukrainian Counter-Strike organization HellRaisers has gone ahead to state that, one cannot imagine about the number of players in esports that are bound by illegal or absurd contracts.

He goes on to say that the day he is done playing professionally he is going to try and help out these players. Though the help he offers might not be entirely free and could come at a certain cost.

He also points out through this line, "not to mention what is happening in the CIS.", that these contractual problems do exist globally but they are particularly worse in the CIS region.

It cannot be said for sure whether these claims by ANGE1 are true or not, as no proof has been attached along with the tweet. Jarek ‘DeKay’ Lewis had replied to ANGE1, telling him to send whatever he knew his way and that he might be able to help him out.

There is no denying that bad contracts in the esport scene have been a long-standing issue with the most recent case involving, Tfue and FaZe Clan. But with no evidence, and ANGE1 not mentioning as to what part of the contract is being referred as absurd, many are saying that it might just be him having or facing a problem with his and his teammates' buyout, as the entire HellRaisers roster was benched following a poor performance at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
