WESA announced yesterday via Twitter that it has received the investigative report conducted by Mr Ian Smith - ESIC Commissioner, into all the allegations against NiP and will now be starting their own review of the submitted report, giving a reply by the end of the week.

WESA had previously announced that they will be conducting an independent review against NiP, mandating Ian Smith to get involved in the matter and do thorough and independent research, submitting the report by the end of August.

Ian Smith tweeted on August 29 that he will be requiring a few more days to submit the report due to the massive volume of documents, which included more than 20,000 emails. He also mentioned that he wanted to have a talk with Robin ‘Fifflaren’ Johansson if possible and that the report will be submitted to WESA by 2 September latest.

Finally, Ian Smith recommended that the publication of the report be in full as the matter needs more depth and understanding than what a summary could provide.

Let’s see what decision is reached by WESA on the matter and how much of the reviewed report is actually made public.
