Highlight Of The Day

The ‘low matches’ were definitely more fun and entertaining to watch then the ‘high matches’ as the competition between the teams was higher. But the American derby was the standout match of the day, as NRG schooled Liquid on Dust 2, a map on which Liquid made a terrific comeback against Na’Vi in the group stage of ESL One Cologne 2019.

Liquid was not that shabby in the first half, securing six rounds in their favour playing T-sided, but things did not go according to their plan in the second half, as NRG held sites all too well, not giving a single inch to the opposition.

Also, it was a really bad performance by Liquid when it comes to individual efficiency. EliGE was the only played with positive K-D difference and was literally carrying the team on his shoulder, achieving an overall HLTV rating of 1.59.

With this Liquid have been denied a chance of going into the top eight through the first set of qualifying matches, something which was not expected of them.
