The day started off with a close match being played between Renegades and AVANGAR on Vertigo. This was the first Vertigo pick for the new legends stage and it turned out to be a really exciting match-up.

Renegades once again put up a great fight but were not nearly there as AVANGAR walked away with a victory after facing a loss against ENCE yesterday. Timur ‘buster’ Tulepov hammered the opposition as he led his team with an overall HLTV rating of 1.45 along with a K-D difference of +13.

Jkaem did give it all that he had to offer but jks and AZR seemed to weigh the team down. They were having a bad day, and despite Gratisfaction and Liazz putting up quite impressive scores, Renegades fell short of winning the game.

The following two match-ups were not all that exciting with Na’Vi going up against their CIS companions DreamEaters, whose dream run seems to be catching up with reality. NiP still running short on their magic were unable to find victory as CR4ZY fought their way through on the back of the Lithuanian, Rokas ‘EspiranTo’ Milasauskas.

The last game of this group saw Mousesports survive a scare from North, who made the whole situation very uncomfortable for mouz on the back of some crazy clutches executed by Nicklas ‘gade’ Gade.

Despite having a decent lead, mouz had to really grind it towards the end to escape over time and walk away with a victory.

For now, AVANGAR, Na’Vi, CR4ZY, and Mouz seem to be safe from elimination as the other four teams will be fighting it out in the elimination group tomorrow to continue ahead in the Major.
