Preparing for the new season, American Esports organization, XiT WoundZ has announced its new Dota 2 roster with the addition of the Cambodian squad who placed first at the ESL India Premiership 2017 – Summer Season Finale, earlier last year. They also finished in 1st place in the Mountain Dew Championship, and N.E.T. 2017 to earn themselves this roster pickup.

This is definitely great news for a team who in the past have had to crowdfund their way to attend overseas LANs due to the lack of sponsorship amongst other monetary reasons. This pickup by an elite NA organization such as XiT WoundZ, one of the most prominent teams in Halo history, will definitely help mitigate these issues.

All five players have been playing close to the highest tiers of SEA Dota for quite a while. They’ve also recruited a coach to help them push forward and move on to the next level. Their roster is as follows:

  • Hay “Xing” Chanheng                    – Captain/5 position Support
  • Em “Dijun“ Ratanak                        – Offlaner
  • Phea “Seobaby” Sokram               – Carry
  • Chhim “Cattt” Vitou                         – 4 Position Support
  • Chan “Kumi” Raksmey                  – Mid
  • Shivam “FrikinJay” Kumar            – Coach/Analyst
These players are veterans in the SEA scene, with experience against the best players that the region has to offer. They will be competing in the upcoming SEA Open Qualifiers for spots in the SEA regional qualifiers along with the upcoming MPGL and other SEA tournaments.
