Veteran support PieLieDie joins Mineski

After the departure of Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung from Mineski earlier this month, the team played with a standin: Wai Pern "Net" Lim in the Chongqing Major SEA Open Qualifiers and managed to secure a place in the regional qualifiers.

However, a replacement for the void left by Mushi has finally been brought in. Veteran support Johan "PieLieDie" Åström has joined the SEA organization and will be competing with them in the in Chongqing Major SEA regional qualifiers.


The Swedish support player spent his last year in Fnatic, where he managed to secure multiple Top 4 finishes in multiple Majors/Minors in the 2017-18 DPC season. He is also known as one of the innovators of the position 6 role, where he strategically positions himself in dangerous positions to get information on the map or force rotations.

Many Mineski fans are excited to see if the addition of PieLieDie will bring more success to the organization.
