A Kuku-less TNC Predator has finally managed to beat out Lotac, Team Admiral and DeToNator in the SEA qualifiers to secure their spot in ESL One: Katowice 2019. They had a difficult run, dropping down to the lower brackets and then going all the way, to qualify for the Main Event held in the Spodek Arena, Poland.

Here’s a brief recap of their run through the SEA qualifiers.

The Playoff brackets

TNC Predator kicked off their journey against DeToNator. They got off to a good start, winning the first game of the series. Unfortunately, they stumbled, losing 2 games in a row to drop down to the lower brackets.

They came back with a vengeance, in the lower bracket, to take down Team Admiral 2-0 with their Lich-Grimstroke combo absolutely destroying their fellow Filipino counterparts. This combo has been shown to be quite broken, so it was a surprise to see Team Admiral let it through 2 games in a row.

They had a chance to exert their vengeance on DeToNator in the next round, and they fully capitalized. It was yet another series that lasted the full 3 games. But this time, it was TNC Predator who came out on top. Terrorblade was the MVP of the series, winning all 3 games with dominant performances from both Raging Potato and Gabbi.

TNC Predator then took on Lotac in the Grand Finals, it was quite a one-sided series as they won 3 games in-a-row in just around 30 minutes each. Lotac looked like they just didn’t have a plan against the TNC Predator playstyle. Gabbi, in particular, was phenomenal in this series only dying twice during the entire series whilst completely dominating Lotac.
