The action continued in the China Dota2 Supermajor SEA Qualifiers, as TNC look to be on course to take the LAN spot. After beating their closest competitors, Fnatic on day 1, TNC took a series of Clutch Gamers to maintain their perfect record in the qualifiers. They currently sit with 3 wins comfortably on top of the table.

TNC looked in control in both the games over CG and executed their draft perfectly each time. In game 1 despite a poor early game, TNC came right back into the game in the mid game. CG who relied heavily on their ultimates to take teamfights found it hard to match TNC’s pace especially when their Ravage was down. In game 2, TNC went for a signature push strat with Raven’s Lycan leading the charge. This time they won the early game and transitioned it into a 38 minute win as again CG’s high cooldown ultimates led to their downfall.

Clutch Gamers now sit in 5th position with 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses and cannot qualify for the event. They managed to get some redemption in the last series of the day with a clean sweep over Geek Fam thanks to vtFaded carrying them safely in both games. Geek Fam have had a terrible time in the Supermajor qualifiers and have failed to win a single game, let alone a series. With 4 losses, they currently sit at the bottom of the table and are only playing for their pride.

Elsewhere, Fnatic picked things up after their loss to TNC yesterday with a win over CG, while TP.NND ended the day with a win over GF and a draw with Execration.

Both TNC and Fnatic have 2 matches remaining and TNC require only a single win to lock down  their spot at Shanghai. Fnatic will have to win both their games against Execration and TP.NND and hope that both TP.NND and Geek Fam are able to take at least one game each off of TNC.
