The Convictus Esports Championship is shaping up to be quite a tournament with some pretty big names and entertaining talent on the list. The $ 38,000 prize pool may not be that high, but the organizers have done a solid job in terms of the invites. And to top it all of, their latest and latest direct invite has gone to OG who will be playing their first LAN since winning TI8.

OG have not taken part in the first two DPC events of the season, the Dreamleague Minor and the Kuala Lumpur Major, citing fatigue but will start their season off in a much smaller LAN at the AMD Dota 2 Pro Series in Melbourne, Australia.

With OG’s invite, we now have the full list of 8 teams at the event:

OG - Invited

Mineski - Invited

Mr Game Boy - China Qualifier

Deathbringer Gaming - China Qualifier

PG.BarracX - SEA Qualifier

Alpha Red - SEA Qualifier

Natural 9 - Australia Qualifiers

AGN Black - Australia Qualifiers

This will also be Ana’s first LAN in his home country and the 18-year-old will look to be just as impressive in front of his home fans as he was at TI8.

The LAN will take place from the 7th to the 9th of December and will be one of Australia’s first big-scale Dota 2 events.
