The International 2019’s prize pool which already broke the record for the largest prize pool in esports history with its record-setting 54-day march to the $25,532,177 mark has now breached the $30 Million mark as of today.

This surpasses the prize pool of the upcoming Fortnite World Cup 2019 which boasts a $30 Million purse and will continue to maintain The International’s position at the top of the charts.

We still have over 30 days to transpire before the crowdfunding ends. There are still a few unreleased content like the Acolyte of the Lost Arts persona for Invoker and the Majesty of the Colossus prestige item for Tiny, that is yet to be released. In all likelihood, these rewards are expected to boost up The International 9 prize pool even further.

This is a monumental achievement in the history of esports. For context here are the prize pools for some of the biggest sporting events in the world.
